Can't think of a title (2)

The worst kind of conversation is the one that involves explaining sarcasm. More insulting than a rejected high-five. You're trying to have an interesting conversation, and you end up making a complete fool out of yourself. I know this person who takes almost everything literally. Not sure if this guy is too cynical to accept, or too dumb to understand sarcasm. Accidentally using a metaphor or saying something sarcastic around this guy can be awfully dangerous. One of those extreme face-palm moments when you feel like banging your head against the wall.

I still can't think of a good title, so I'm going to go with this again ^.

The other day, I was waiting for someone at this traffic signal near my house. I saw an old policeman attired in white, struggling to manage the flow. Surprising sight, as he tried running behind a guy on an Activa, who went past him, skipping the signal. He obviously had to give up. Probably in his late 60s, he took some time to regain his breath. Not disrespecting him, but he was physically too weak to handle the traffic. Felt bad too see that. May be he's passionate to work, or he was filling in for someone or he needs to work to support his family. But I have to respect his dedication. No clue about the retirement age, but he clearly deserves better than that. A completely different situation I witnessed near Esquare, a cop had his head inside his phone with a wide grin, completely oblivious of what's happening around him.

De Gea's contract extension and Anthony Martial's goal made my weekend. Insane debut, a solo goal vs Liverpool at the Stretford end. There cannot be a better beginning. Can't rate LVG anywhere close to SAF, but he is definitely the most interesting character in football right now. Quotes like "For me, Liverpool is a fantastic club.. because I have won against them every single time" are more entertaining than 90 minutes of Liverpool football. I like how he speaks with the innocence and arrogance of a 10 year old kid.
